Mike Kuczkowski

Mike founded Orangefiery in 2014 to provide a rigorous, analytical approach to solving complex communications problems. During his more than 20 years in communications, Mike has helped some of the biggest names in business address complex public issues, improve their reputations and achieve commercial success. An 11-year veteran of Edelman, the world’s largest PR firm, Mike served in a variety of senior roles in the corporate and healthcare practices, launched the firm’s management consulting division and was General Manager of its San Francisco office. Prior to beginning his PR career, Mike worked in politics and journalism. He is a recognized thought leader on communications and influence, and author of the Orangefiery blog.

Alison Lehanski

Alison has spent the past two decades helping her clients and brands achieve standout success. A former US brand team leader for Viagra, she’s also led market development and communications efforts around industry reputation and opioid addiction. She makes sure we’re thinking holistically about our client’s opportunities.

Diana Dopfel

New York

Diana has worked with clients stationed around the globe and spanning the healthcare industry – pharmaceuticals and biotechs, hospitals, advocacy organizations, healthcare industry consultants, and others. In addition to leading corporate, brand and internal communications programs, she has coordinated coalition-building activities with patient and professional groups and worked as a clinical trial coordinator. Diana excels at building and managing communications processes in growing healthcare organizations and coordinating complex projects across teams and partners.

Stacey Wacknov


Stacey has more than 20 years of experience working with U.S. and multinational clients in both the healthcare and consumer brand spheres. Stacey’s experience includes building leadership platforms; constructing action-oriented, strategic branded and unbranded programs; increasing awareness of critical health concerns; crisis communications planning and execution; supporting new drug approvals; and rejuvenating “tried and true” brands. Stacey’s passion is coalescing messages and platforms that resonate deeply with key audiences.

Dan Boyle

Dan brings 15 years of healthcare communications experience to the practice, as well as an additional 10 years as a newspaper journalist. Dan develops and implements media strategies, as well as handles corporate communications, for biopharma companies, healthcare organizations and advocacy groups. At Orangefiery, Dan is responsible for providing strategic media counsel and issues management to healthcare clients.

Katie Halper-Bogusky

New York

Katie began her career in healthcare communications at FleishmanHillard where she worked with large pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, non-profit organizations and advocacy organizations, developing strategic narratives and innovative tactics to help clients successfully and authentically differentiate themselves. Katie is well versed in research and analytics, visual communications, information strategy and architecture, and how to use data to tell compelling stories. Katie is responsible for project management, tactical execution, internal and external communications and developing visual and written materials.
